Let Me Introduce Myself

For those of you that don't know me, here's a little something or other: I am JJ McFadden, a writer, reader, dreamer, mother, daughter, wife...

Some of my favorite things to do are to paint (I have no real skill, but it sure is fun to get your hands messy!), listen to music (ranging from classical/instrumental soundtrack to classic rock, to Christian/Christian Alternative), and nothing more than a mid-afternoon nap!

I am currently focusing on two stories. The first is a modern-day New Adult story and the other is a historical dark action/adventure (and hopefully slightly romantic) Young Adult trilogy. I have already been through the process to find an agent for my YA book, but have been rejected 20ish times, which just told me that I needed to spruce up my story a little and try again when I was further in the writing process. So 100,000+ words later, the second book is in the process, and I go back and forth of when I start the scary process of querying again. (Or do I go the self-publishing route?)

So, in a nutshell, that is the me. I hope to have a somewhat entertaining FB page, and I hope to inspire others to go out there and enjoy whatever it is they love to do.
