Words of the weekend:
Mercenary and banish. It's not as exciting as you think, though. They are words we (Cary and myself) forgot for one reason or another. Mercenary is a word I used to describe men in my story, yet could not remember it as he was trying to create a comic book character (custodian man... It could be huge!) Banish is the word I struggled to think of at 1:30 this morning after I had to send our little guest, B's class pet hamster, to the laundry room because he apparently thought the end of the world was coming if he didn't stop running around in his wheels. Yes. I was awake for at least 30 minutes trying to think of that specific word. And then I finally fell asleep again... Only to wake up, think 'banish', then fall asleep again. Repeat at least 2 more times. I may or may not need a nap today.
